Lata Mangeshkar was a most beloved singer with the blessing of her soothing voice. She sung more than 25,000 songs in different languages but primarily in Hindi, Bengali and Marathi. She was the recipient of three National Film Awards, seven Filmfare awards; she was also honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and the Bharat Ratna award.
One of her first major hits was “Aayega Aanewaala” a song in the movie Mahal (1949), and last song was “Saugandh Mujhe Is Mitti Ki”, as a tribute to the Indian army and nation.

She borned in 28 september 1929 named as Hema Mangeshkar later known as Lata Mangeshkar was an Indian playback singer and occasional music composer. She is widely considered as one of the greatest and most influential singers in India.
Fans love our “Lata didi” gave the name Nightingale of India, Voice of the Millennium and Queen of Melody (Swar kokila).
She is inspiration for many of us and our further generation will also get to know what is meant by legendary voice after listening her.
